Neighborhoods in Rome, Italy..?
Which neighborhood is ideal to stay in in Rome, Italy? I want to go in mid-February, and want to see all the touristy spots: the Trevi Fountain, the Vatican, Spanish Steps, Colosseum, etc. I also am going to take the express train early to Venice to spend the afternoon. I was looking on Expedia and Travelocity websites for airfare and hotel and they can sort hotels by different areas and neighborhoods in Rome…which neighborhood would you recommend is best? There are choices such as Trevi and Pantheon, Trastavere, Vatican City, via Venito, Villa Borghese…I have no idea which is the best place to stay. I would like it to be safe to walk around at night, of course, and I don’t mind things being busy or noisy. Should I pick a place near the termini strain station? Please someone help!!
There are several central Rome zones from where you will be within walking distance to most Rome tourist attractions.

The areas I like are Trastevere, Campo de Fiori, Navona and Pantheon. They have that authentic Roman feel (cobbled streets, charming restaurants, beautiful architecture), and are close to most Rome tourist attractions, plus have an excellent nightlife. And not to worry, walking around central Rome is very safe, there is a large (unobtrusive) police presence.
My wife and I have only ever felt safe walking through Rome – in fact strolling through Rome at night is usually one of the highlights for most who visit the city.
In my opinion the Termini area is not a good choice for accommodation, the area is a little seedy, very residential, and certainly not authentic Rome! Most people choose it as it’s conveniently close to Termini – and usually they regret it.
Rather put that extra effort in, find an area that has so much more to offer than Termini, and enjoy your stay.

Planning a summer wedding in Greece and want to know whether this is a good spot to go. Also, wondering if the church located near the hotel is still available for the ceremony. If not, are there any greek orthodox churches close to the hotel for the ceremony. Thanks.
Below are some links to the Aegeon Hotel. The location is idyllic for the wedding and close to Sounion Cape. However, if you are planning for a wedding you have to make arrangements well in advance because the the churches are not available like Reno style.
So, make plans and get in touch with the hotel people to get some of the arrangement under way from now.
If however, you have people here who can do that get in touch and also get moving.
BTW. In getting married I would not be in a hurry myself. lol.

Why is airfare so expensive?
I was looking for flights from Los Angeles to London, in sept of next year, and noticed that the airfare is throw the roof? I understand that during the summer time prices tend to go up, but it doesn’t make sense that tickets are 1,300 round-trip around Sept. Don’t understand what’s going on, help?

I am planning to trying to take a trip to Europe from late September to late November. I was wondering about how much I should budget for after I buy airfare and my train pass.
I plan on visiting a few cities in Germany (Cologne, Munich, and Berlin), Prague, Vienna, possibly a day in Krakow and Budapest, Amsterdam, Paris, Rome and maybe one other city in Italy, Madrid and Barcelona.
Just wondering if anyone could give me a good weekly estimate – I might have to shorten my trip due to expenses.
I have heard that Rome, Paris, and Amsterdam are very expensive in particular so I would only probably spend a day or two there.
