Gold is a pure metal first found by early man. It is very workable in its naturally occurring pure state and has been used by craftsmen for the past 11,000 years.
Revered for millennia gold is now the material of choice of people across the globe as an expression of love. Let’s look more closely at the fascinating story of gold.
The chemical element gold has atomic number 79 and its chemical symbol is Au from the Latin aurum. Soft, lustrous yellow it is a malleable metal. Gold is known as one of the transition metals and its atomic weight is 196.967, and it belongs to group 1B in the periodic table along with copper and silver.
Gold is commonly alloyed with other metals. In jewelry varying proportions of other metals are added to yield the desired hardness and color. For example, an alloy of gold, silver, and copper in which silver predominates is called “green gold.”
An alloy of the same three elements in which copper predominates is called “red gold” and an alloy of gold and nickel is called “white gold.”
The purity of alloyed gold is expressed by the karat system. In this system the percent of gold by weight is given as a fraction of 24. Thus pure gold is 24 karat (.999), 18-karat gold is 18/24, or 75% (.750) and 14-karat gold is 14/24, or 58% (.584).
The melting point of pure gold is 1,063 deg. C and its boiling point is 2,966 deg. C. In addition to its softness, gold is both the most malleable and most ductile of metals. It can be hammered into extremely thin sheets (approaching a small number of atoms) and can be drawn into extremely fine wire. Gold in the form of very thin sheets, called gold leaf, has many decorative uses.
The Earth’s crust averages a mere 0.004 grams of gold per ton and commercial concentrations of gold are found in areas distributed widely over the globe.
Gold occurs in association with ores of copper and lead, in quartz veins, in the gravel of stream beds, and with pyrites (iron sulfide).
Distribution of Gold Around the World
Seawater contains quantities of gold but the process of recovering gold from the sea is not economical. The ancients found quantities of gold in Ophir, Sheba, Uphaz, Parvaim, Arabia, India, and Spain. By the first century AD, written reports were made of deposits in Thrace, Italy, and Anatolia. Gold is also found in Wales, in Hungary, in the Ural Mountains of Russia, and, in large quantities, in Australia.
The greatest early surge in the mining of gold followed the first voyage of Columbus. From 1492 to 1600, Central and South America, Mexico, and the islands of the Caribbean Sea contributed significant quantities of gold to world commerce.
Colombia, Peru, Ecuador, Panama, and Hispaniolacontributed 61% of the world’s newfound gold during the 17th century and in the 18th century they supplied 80%.
After the discovery of gold in California in 1848, North America became the world’s major supplier of the metal. From 1850 to 1875 more gold was discovered than in the previous 350 years. By 1890 the gold fields of Alaska and the Yukon edged out those in the western United States, and soon the African Transvaal exceeded even these. The world’s current unmined reserves are estimated at one billion troy oz (31 billion g), with about half of this in the Witwatersrand area of the Republic of South Africa.
The widespread distribution of gold validates the theory that gold was carried toward the Earth’s surface from great depths by geologic activity, perhaps with other metals as a solid solution within molten rock. After this solid solution cooled, gold content was spread through such a great volume of rock that large fragments were unusual.
This theory explains why the world’s gold is in small, often microscopic particles.
It also explains why small amounts of gold are widespread in all igneous rocks.

Scientist-Astronaut Edgar Mitchell dropped a bombshell speaking at the fifth annual X-Conference saying “there is extraterrestrial life, and that it’s being concealed by the United States government”.
The conference is where a group of speakers discuss “the governmental, political and media aspects of 60+ years of extraterrestrial engagement and government denials. George Noory Coast to Coast AM radio show host and famous author and archaeologist Graham Hancock where among others to speak at the gathering.
During Mitchell’s presentation he explained that, having grown up in Roswell, New Mexico, the site of disputed UFO crash in 1947. Mitchell says he and other members of his community were told by military authorities not to talk about it. But witnesses “didn’t want to go to the grave with their story. They wanted to tell somebody reliable. And being a local boy and having been to the moon, they considered me reliable enough to whisper in my ear their particular story.” Mitchell claims, they eventually want the story out, and he is viewed as a credible messenger because of his resume.
“I urge those who are doubtful: Read the books, read the lore, start to understand what has really been going on. Because there really is no doubt we are being visited,” he said.
“The universe that we live in is much more wondrous, exciting, complex and far-reaching than we were ever able to know up to this point in time.”
Mitchell claimed he used his highly-regarded status to speak confidentially with a Pentagon admiral, who confirmed the UFO crash at Roswell. He claims he has since spoken to government officials from three different countries who say they have had contact with aliens. He is now calling for NASA and the government to stop hiding evidence of alien contact and start being honest with the American public.
A NASA spokesperson responded saying that “NASA does not track UFOs. NASA is not involved in any sort of cover-up about alien life on this planet or anywhere else – period.”
This information Mitchell has said before but different this time is the mainstream media has picked it up as while as cyberspace. Mitchell has set the Internet ablaze with articles, blogs, and forum discussion. One reporter said what is getting all of the attention is Mitchell is a man who is respected highly, and a national hero, has with a somber, straight face told the world without reservation that we have been visited by UFOs, aliens are real, and our government is indeed, covering up this information.
“Our destiny, in my opinion, and we might as well get started with it, is [to] become a part of the planetary community. … We should be ready to reach out beyond our planet and beyond our solar system to find out what is really going on out there.” Mitchell has said.
Mitchell as a Navy officer achieved a Doctor of Science degree in Aeronautics and Astronautics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a Bachelor of Science degree in aeronautical engineering from the U.S. Naval Postgraduate School. He also holds honorary doctorates from the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, New Mexico State University, the University of Akron, and Carnegie Mellon University.
On Britain’s Kerrang radio show on July 23, 2008, Mitchell told the world that the 500+ witnesses telling us that a UFO from another world crashed in Roswell, N.M, in 1947, were in fact, telling the truth, and that a government cover-up of UFO and alien information began at that time, and continues today. We have been visited by beings from other worlds a number of other times also, some of which he had insider knowledge of during his time at NASA. These events were also covered up. UFO proponents, of course, already took these events as truth, but now we know for certain.
Host Kerrang said there is a big difference between believing something is true, and knowing for certain that it [does]. I want to believe that UFOs are real, Dr. Mitchell knows UFOs are real. In all fairness, we cannot forget that he also told us that a lot of the reports of UFOs are not extraterrestrial in nature, there are a lot of reports that are misidentifications of planes, stars, comets, balloons, etc, reported as UFOs, and of course, we have many hoaxes, faked photos and videos to blur our vision of what is real.
There have been a number of well respected individuals who have told us similar things, and some of them may also have inside information, but none of them had the impact of Mitchell’s statement. Could it be the time of his announcement, coming on the heels of the O’Hare Airport sighting, the Texas sightings, and the ongoing UFO waves over Great Britain? Possibly, or could it be who he is, a famous Astronaut?
“I happen to have been privileged enough to be in on the fact that we’ve been visited on this planet and the UFO phenomena is real,” Dr Mitchell said.
Mitchell was part of the 1971 Apollo 14 moon mission. He is credited with the longest moonwalk in history for his nine-hour walk in the Fra Mauro Highlands region of the moon. Known for his interest in the paranormal, Mitchell conducted ESP experiments during his Apollo 14 mission.
“Make no mistake, Roswell happened. I’ve seen secret files which show the government knew about it – but decided not to tell the public.” Mitchell said.
In an exclusive interview on Oct 10, 1998 from his Florida home, Edgar told John Earls why he is convinced there is life on other planets and that aliens have, in fact, landed on Earth.
As a former astronaut, the military people who have access to these files are more willing to talk to me than to people they regard as mere cranks.
The stories I have heard from these people, who are more highly qualified than me to talk about UFOs, leave me in no doubt that aliens have already visited Earth.
I’ve been interested in the subject since I joined NASA 40 years ago. Probably my most visionary moment was when I actually landed on the moon with Apollo 14.
I felt an overwhelming sense that the universe itself is in some way a conscious being in its own right. This means that all life-forms, whether on Earth or elsewhere, are all part of one giant consciousness.
So when I learned that aliens really do exist, I wasn’t too surprised. But what did shock me when I started investigating extra-terrestrial reports a decade ago is the extent to which the proof has been hushed up.
Indeed, I’ve heard convincing stories about governments all over the world that know of alien visits – including the British government.
Mitchell continued not all governments are anxious to keep their findings quiet. The Belgians have admitted that aliens may be out there and have released information about sightings that cannot be explained away as military planes, weather phenomena and so on.
The whole question of extra-terrestrials should be looked at in an historical context. Five hundred years ago, the astronomer Copernicus was condemned as a heretic for saying that planet Earth wasn’t the centre of the universe but merely a small part of it.
Now we laugh at those long-dead fools for not listening to the truth. People who believe in aliens aren’t all cranks and some may be looked upon in the future as visionaries similar to Copernicus. Meanwhile, the majority of us still believe mankind is the biological centre of the universe.
We will refuse to accept that intelligent life exists outside Earth unless we personally bump into an alien while we’re doing the shopping. Is this attitude really any different from those “simpletons” of 500 years ago?
My training at NASA only allows me to look at things scientifically. Even if I hadn’t been shown evidence of alien landings on Earth, the assumption must be that somewhere in the universe another planet is capable of supporting alien life.
Those life-forms need not be “little green men”. The scientists’ definition of intelligent life is whether or not it can use and manage information. Even the most primitive microbes on Earth qualify by that definition, and surely there are at the very least similar microbes thriving on planets throughout the universe.

How Magickal Pearls are Acquired Part 1

We are often inquired how mustika or magickal pearls are extracted by shamans from Nature’s realm or how some people are fortunate enough to be gifted by Her. It certainly is appropriate that collectors and those interested in the subject of animal/plant stones acquire more information in this regard. Those who are misinformed or are not properly educated on the processes of pearl-acquisition by shamans often mistakenly believe that animals fall prey to hunters of these pearls and are killed indiscriminately without compassion; generally speaking, this is not the case here in Indonesia as wanton killing is a waste of time and resources even for shamans and would put them on Nature’s black-list and cause them to lose their raison d’être. It is important to stress that one would hardly find animal-pearls through such killing.. Shamans are careful in maintaining a good relationship with Nature and Her forces as it is through working with Her rather than against Her that the magickal pearls are acquired. It would, therefore, probably be proper if we were to offer some enlightenment and remove the concerns that some individuals might harbour in their minds.
In almost all cases of magickal pearl-acquisition there lies an element of the mystique, of the occult and the processes of shamanic work. Nature offer these pearls possessing magickal properties to humanity and she often does so in ways that borders upon the miraculous and the “supernatural.” We know this to be true as a result of several personal experiences where we were gifted by Nature of unusual objects with inherent talismanic value. We need not elaborate on this, the point being that when the hidden forces of Nature wishes to display their fondness, respect, and friendship towards someone attuned to their existence with mutual feelings on the part of the mortal, they often express their delight with a physical token, such as a natural artifact, a curio or a magickal pearl; these gifts often come as a surprise to the one so-attuned with Nature; sometimes they are specifically requested through occult means–shamans the world over are well familiar with the principles and the processes involved and regularly practice them. The modus operandi of this occult-retrieval, however, is not an exact science, and Nature does not always respond in the manner hoped for–greed, doubt, arrogance, harmfulness, wrong-timing, etc. almost always prevents the psychic-connection and the bonding from being established with Nature. Shamans treating Nature with love and respect while functioning under a magickal-trance and attuning to her life-rhythm are rewarded for their congenial expressions accordingly. This is not to say that just anyone can approach Nature and request pearls from Her and then be given them. It does require a certain degree of mastery and the unfoldment of shamanic/psychic powers aside from the development of purity and a spiritual consciousness–these are cultivated through years of difficult training, discipline and struggle. In Indonesia, the art of acquiring pearls from Nature is a specialized knowledge and not all indigenous shamans of the class called “pawangs” possess this power or know-how; traditionally, the mantras and “Ilmu” (occult-power/knowledge) of this type of work are transmitted from father to son only–one reason why sources for these pearls are scarce.
The search for one’s animal-totem in a shamanic-journey also often concludes with the practitioner being gifted with a physical token by the forces representing the archetypal animal-totem; these keepsakes are regarded as magickal tools and as symbolic of the oneness and bond between the practitioner and his/her animal-totem. The occult gifts that Nature of the tropical wilderness of Indonesia present to native shamanic practitioners or fortunate ones come in an array of forms; predictably, they are derived from their native ambient flora and fauna and have mineral and/or organic structures in their composition–these objects are often in a crystallized, fossilized or concretized form. For instance, unusual shapes of fossilized roots, organic in the initial stages of their growth, are often presented to the shamanic-practitioner in his magickal interaction with the hidden forces of Nature. Pearls produced by plants, trees, and animals as a result of unusual organic functions or environmental influences are some of the objects imparted by Nature in her desire to establish a harmonious relationship between humanity and the lives of the various forms of spirit-intelligences composing her being. Lost or unowned objects such as kerises, spear-heads, gem stones, rings and other accessories, etc. when left in the open in the wilds for many years are often collected and hoarded by the intelligences of Nature and kept in secret or hidden places unknown to the mortal mind and unseen to the naked eye–these objects are likewise gifted to shamans under certain conditions. At first reading the above may seem like a tall-story, like a “fairy-tale”–and so it is: fairies are involved; the tales, however, are true.
Journeys to areas of pearl-retrieval often require hours of hiking through jungles and forests. Hardships are endured by shamans during such treks and retrieval-work. Most of the occult operations are conducted in power-spots/haunted areas referred to as “tempat-angker.” These are cross-roads of magnetic forces that are conducive to psychic and magickal work, especially those rituals related to the contact with Nature’s hidden forces. The tempat-angker are regarded as portals between the third and fourth dimensions and facilitates the passage of beings/entities travelling from one realm to the other. It is for this reason that the tempat-angker are regarded as haunted and avoided by natives familiar with the locale–there are many stories of the unwary person being lost there only to emerge years later but without any awareness of the passage of time. Texas UFO And Jets May Have Entered Restricted Presidential Airspace

Despite efforts by a military spokesperson to attribute the sightings to F-16 training maneuvers, new video shows a strange object that doesn’t look or act anything like a conventional aircraft. A new video has surfaced and been presented by Stephenville, Texas, resident Steve Allen, the owner of a freight company and a witness to the sighting on January 8, 2008. Allen says that the video of a strange object in the sky was presented to him by an anonymous source and that it was taken on the occasion of the January 8th sighting. The video appears very similar to another UFO film taken years before which shows an object moving extremely fast and making bizarre and aerodynamically impossible moves. This new video evidence casts doubt on the current air force explanation for the event.
A new scenario that might help explain one of the Stephenville UFO sightings has entered the picture, but it’s doubtful that the Air Force or other U.S. Government Authorities will find this one helpful in their efforts to portray the affair in conventional terms. A former employee for a government contractor (now retired) told the International Paranormal UFO Society that he worked on F-16s for many years as an electronics engineer and has his own opinion of what happened on January 8, 2008.
