Do you know which cruise company this is with? It would be very difficult to know since the rates differ according to where you are staying on board. You can have a suite with your own balcony or an indoor cabin way down the lower decks. So if you did have pay pay taxes, it will depend on that. You will still have to pay gratuities for the cleaner, waiters etc..
If you know which cruise line and cruise ship it is and when you are traveling, it is best to check with the cruise line.

We went to Maui on our honeymoon and it was the trip of a lifetime, but very expensive and a long flight. I don’t believe that there are any all inclusives there, but it is definitely a trip to consider. Jamaica has several all inclusives which include everything down to the tips. The Sandals Dunns River is very nice and I believe it is the least expensive of all of the sandals on the island. Grand Cayman is very expensive, Cozumel is a disaster, St. Lucia is beautiful, but VERY expensive, but my recommendation would be Jamaica.

What is the cheapest possible flight from North America to Europe?
I live in Montreal, and I’m trying to get to Paris. I’m willing to depart from another airport, like maybe Toronto, Halifax, or New York, where I might be able to get a cheaper flight. I’m also willing to land pretty much anywhere in Europe, because once there, I can get to my final destination by train, since I’ll have a Railpass.
If anyone has experience flying between North American and Europe, I’d appreciate some advice on how to get the cheapest possible airfare.
I think you should try nyc to lon on kuwait airlines and toronto to lon on air india,both direct flights.Also in europe try ryan air and easy jet,sometimes its even cheaper than rail.
I would say aer lingus and klm can be options too.

How much discount do you get by waiting for a cheap ticket at airport?
Is it easy to wait at a big airport for a cheap ticket to come up? What do you have to do? Does it work with Long Haul flights? Is it cheaper than booking your ticket in advance?
There are no standards for that situation, and no fixed percentage discounts. It depends on where you want to go and how many other people also want to go there.
Popular destination will probably have very little, if any, discount, and the planes will all be full anyway. You could end up paying more than just about anyone else. If the place you want to go has a half empty plane headed that way, then you are more likely to get a bigger break on the price, but that is never guaranteed. The airlines have very confusing pricing methods.
When you approach the ticket agent, and get a price for the destination you want, you can always decline to buy it and go to a different airline that offers flights to that same place.
Doing things that way can work if you really don’t care about when you fly – today, tomorrow, the next day…. If you have to be someplace within a specific time, then you will be much better off reserving a ticket ahead of time.

should i backpack through europe during winter??? It is cheaper and less crowded, but……?
I was wondering if i should backpack through europe during winter, it is cheaper such as flight being $744, and eurorail is $575 for 10 days in 2 months (means 10 cities to travel to in 2 month period). I save about $400 in airfare for winter compared to summer. Only thing is I am not sure if i will have as much fun in the winter compared to summer. Anyone have experience doing this? I want to visit the folllowing countries/cities…….Spain (Madrid), France (Paris), United Kingdom (London), Netherlands (Amsterdam), and Italy for about 2-3 weeks! So will I have more fun doing these in the winter or summer……this is easily more affordable during winter…..what time do you think you think I should go? I am leaving December 29th, 2008. Thanks in advance.

Cheap Airfares in Europe, not so Much in America
Getting cheap airfares these days isn’t so easy, especially if you live in North America.
Meanwhile budget airlines are booming elsewhere in the world. In Thailand for example, you can fly from Bangkok to Phuket for about 30 dollars on Air Asia, a relatively new budget airline. And of course in Europe, you have airlines like Ryanair that offer incredibly cheap airline tickets between many European cities. You can go from London to Paris for fifty bucks, as long as you don’t mind having no preselected seats and a very strict weight limit.
Those types of discount airlines haven’t really made it over to this side of the pond. Still, with companies like Jet Blue etc you can find some decent deals, especially if you buy plane tickets early; or take advantage of last minute deals. In Mexico recently we’ve seen companies like Azteca Airlines, Volaris, and Interjet attempt to replicate Ryanair type of budget service; with varying degrees of success. In Canada cheap flights are very hard to come by. There’s basically nothing in the domestic market…internationally, Zoom Airlines has just started offering cheap flight to Europe. Otherwise you may get lucky if you’re traveling when a charter is.
With the web, shopping for air fares is easy. There are any companies selling plane tickets on the internet. From the comfort of your chair you can surf many different web sites until you find the best fare possible. This is power that only travel agents had just a few years ago!
Carefully check out exchange and refund policies – sites like Expedia for instance are known to be quite strict in that area. Most online air ticket sales use E-tickets – typically the company that sells you the tickets just emails it to you. Print it, bring it to the airport and have a safe and stress-free trip!
