Business Travel Tips
Even those working in small businesses are finding that they need to travel more frequently these; this is despite advances in information technology and communication. This is putting an increasing strain on business travelers who often become stressed and fatigued at the constant need to be in another part of the world. Hopefully the following business travel tips will help you make the most of your travel time, and perhaps even enjoy the trip along the way.
When baggage goes missing it is irritating to say the least but for someone on a business trip it can be a whole lot more disastrous. The answer to this is to ensure you have everything you need in your hand luggage.
This type of forward thinking means that you will not be caught out nor will you have a wasted trip. Regular travelers know that the main business travel tip when packing is to keep things simple by only including exactly what you need for the journey and that way you won’t go far wrong if luggage goes missing.
In order to accomplish this, make do with a pair of casual shoes and a pair of business shoes only, and be sure to only bring enough work clothes to last you through the trip. The remaining items to pack will be toilet essentials and any other work related documents that aren’t important.
A clever business travel tip, to reduce the size of bag you require, is too roll your clothes up instead of folding them; apart for taking up less space they are not so creased when they are unpacked. The last thing you want on a business trip is having clothes laundered because something was spilt on them, this can easily be avoided by wearing dark clothes which are able to absorb stains more easily.
If you are delayed for any reason then knowing you can freshen up prior to the meeting without the need for a shower can be a lifesaver, this is where those travel wipes come in very useful. Although most cell phones have very good standby and talk times now, you will need to make sure it and any other electronic equipment are charged up before you go on your journey.
As it is possible to carry out work while you fly, by making the best use of this time you will be able to spend some time relaxing in the evening and perhaps a little site seeing. Simply planning ahead for these eventualities mean you will be ready for your business travel journey, no matter what.
Business trips do not have to be boring and stressful if you apply the business travel tips in this article as they will allow you the opportunity to enjoy your free time even more.
Airfare Questions:
How to travel to Turkey with a little money? How much is enough?
I plan to stay there 20 days and is $8,000 enough for 20 days in Istanbul- that is all I have to spend including the airfare and hotel? Because that is enough in Japan so I don’t know about Turkey. I don’t want expensive hotel (I want cheap hotel) and I want to buy good foods with not so expensive price. Can I ride bicycle in the city? Do I have to bargain on foods or just materials? Oh yeah I forget I always wear high heels, mini skirts, dresses, shirts, and pants..will that make any offensive to them?
The Turkey Lira…how can I spend? Just an example a normal pair of sandals in Istanbul is how much? A list of prices and suggestion is greatly appreciated! How much the food on the street cost?
My vacation will be on September 08
Where are you flying from? Airfare from New York vary greatly depending on seasons and conditions, but you should pay no more than $900 for a return ticket with short-term validity.
Your remaining cash is way more than enough for a budget traveler in Istanbul. Here’s the breakdown:
Hotel
2 to 3-star boutique hotel room in Taksim or Sultanahmet costs YTL 50 to 100 per person per night.
Allocate YTL 2,000.
Transport
Taxis are inexpensive for short distance. But the city is well connected with trams, ferries and buses.
Allocate YTL 30 per day, or 600 for your whole trip.
Lunch and dinner
The cheaper eateries in Turkey have 2 price lists – one for turks and another for tourists (usually double the amount). While more respectable restaurants have only one price, I would advise you to stick to turkish fare. The classier restaurants that serve foreign cuisine (italian, french, etc) carry grossly inflated price tags for the quality of food you get.
Food prices in the grocer stores are very cheap.
Allocate YTL 1000 – 2000.
Sightseeing expenses
For museum entry, guidebooks, etc YTL 400
Night entertainment
For cultural concerts, belly dance show, clubbing, try to set aside YTL 50 – 150 for every outing. There are a handful of hip club in Kurucesme which charge astronomical prices just to be exclusive (YTL50 for a glass of cocktail, for example) but the DJ spins good music. Suppose you go out 5 times, that will cost you an average of YTL 500
Excluding shopping, this works out to US$ 5,240.
(YTL 5,000 + USD 900) You could get by with a minimum of YTL2,500 for 20 days.
Shopping in Istanbul is cheaper compared to most cities in the US. You can definitely get a good pair of sandals for YTL50 in a boutique. Most people in Istanbul earn less than YTL 2,000 a month.

If I have h1n1 could my pet pig catch it from me?
Suppose I were a human and had a pet pig. Suppose also that my pig is healthy but I have h1n1. Could my pig catch it from me?
@Mister Man: I am skeptical that H1N1 passes from pigs to humans or from humans to pigs. Can you support your claims?

Airfare Questions:
What is a typical airfare for Aruba – from newark or ny?
Just want to make sure before I purchase my ticks don’t know if I should wait a bit. Hotel booked for 9/21
You will see prices between $500 and up. Aruba is considered out of the hurricane area so you won’t get a bargain like other areas in the Caribbean at that time. Check prices often and if you see a price less than $500 grab it. I think American is having a sale right now to Aruba. (JFK) I would check their website. If you book with American, they will refund you if the prices goes down when you fly international.
You are 6 months out, you can never tell when they will run another sale.
Good Luck and have a wonderful safe trip.

looking for a great honeymoon location in/around the states…?
my fiance and i are tying the knot this october and we’re looking for a great honeymoon location…the thing is we’re not looking to staying more than 4/5 days because we have a 3 mo old (at the time he’ll be around 7 mo’s) and it would be hard on my parents to watch him since my mom is a teacher and my dad works during the day…and my fiance’s mother also works during the day…his sister might be able to but thats not the point…anyway we’re looking for a place near or around the states…great airfare (or decent at least lol) and a place that has a good reputation obviously
any help would be greatly appreciated!
We’re going to Disneyland for 2 days, and two months later, we’re going to Disney World for a week. That’s just our dream.
Other cheap alternatives: Niagara Falls, any wooded area with cabins (Big Bear, CA, comes to mind), a bed and breakfast, etc.
The most expensive part of your honeymoon will probably be airfare. Go to travel websites (like travelocity.com) and see what specials they have going on now from your local airport. “$75 from LA to Las Vegas!” Common flights are cheaper, like LA to NY, instead of LA to OK, for example. Choose a few locations based on cheap airfare, then look around that area for something to do (I usually type in the city and “vacation” in Google.)
The subway and Maglev of Shanghai – Shanghai Airfare,China vacations info
This article is about the Maglev and subway system in Shanghai. You can find some useful information in it if you are planning your China vacations now.
After you arrive at the Shanghai Pudong International Airport (you can visit Travel2ChinaInfo Dot COM if you need more info about the Shanghai airfare and Shanghai airports), you can try the Maglev (Magnetic Levitation Train) here. This Maglev of Shanghai is built with the most advanced technology from Germany. It only takes you 7 minutes from the airport to the downtown of Shanghai (a subway station named Longyanglu). You can then take the subway from Longyanglu to other places of Shanghai. One good thing I found about this Maglev is that you can get a 20% off if you show them your airline tickets. In this case, this Maglev will only cost you 40 rmb to get to the Longyanglu subway station. (some tips: the last Magnetic train starts from the Shanghai Pudong International Airport at 5:00 PM. You can take the Line 2 airport bus if you missed this last Magnetic train. This airport bus will cost you only 19 rmb.)
The subway system of Shanghai is advanced and lots of people think it is more convinient than the taxi or bus. You can take the subway to almost all the notable places of Shanghai. Currently, there are 3 main subway lines in Shanghai: Line 1, Line 2 and Line 3 (Line Mingzhu). The Line 1 and Line 2 can reach most tourist destinations and big shopping malls of Shanghai. By taking the Shanghai subway, you don’t need a tour guide for your Shanghai travel anymore. Just a subway map of Shanghai will be enough for you.
The subway of Shanghai is fast and it only takes 2 minutes from one subway station to another. You don’t need to worry about the traffic jam if you choose the subway. The cost is low: the price starts from 3 rmb and only costs 6 rmb to take you from the downtown to the suburbs of Shanghai. The subway trains here are clean and comfortable. You can watch the TV shows if you get bored in the subway train.(you can visit Travel2ChinaInfo Dot COM if you need more info about the Shanghai airfare and Beijing airfare)
Some tips for taking the subway in Shanghai:
1. Get in: There are several entrances for every subway station and you can find signs near every subway station, which tell you how to get to the subway entrance.
2. Buy ticket: Now all the subway stations of Shanghai are using the magnetic card tickets. You can buy your tickets at the ticket vending machines in the subway stations. The Shanghai Public Traffic Card(SPTC) is another good choice. This SPTC will cost you 100 rmb, including a deposit of 30 rmb. It is a rechargable IC card and you can do the recharge at every subway station of Shanghai. This SPTC can be used in the bus, ferry, subway and taxi. It is very convinient. If you are a tourist here in Shanghai, you can choose the ticket vending machines. But for the people who need to stay in Shanghai for a while, the SPTC will be a better choice. You can save a lot of time waiting in the line to buy your tickets every time you take the subway. (you can visit Travel2ChinaInfo Dot COM if you need more info about the Shanghai airfare,China vacations and Beijing airfare)
3. Transfer: The Renmin Square(People Square) is the transfer station for Line 1, Line 2 and Line 8. The Gongshan Park station is the transfer station for Line 2, Line 3 and Line 4. You can see the subway map in the trains and this will show you where to get off or transfer to another subway line.

Vacation Deals

Disneyland Vacation Deals
The number one question that most people ask when they are planning a trip to Disneyland, is how to find a way to make this vacation cost less. Disneyland vacation deals are one of the most searched-for phrases as regards vacationing in Disneyland. Any way to cut the expense of a Disneyland vacation is a welcome addition to the planning process, so how do you find the best deals for this trip?
First of all, be sure to shop for your vacation in advance so you can find the best deals when they first become available to the general public. Each hotel or airline is willing to make package deals at low rates, but there are only so many of these deals that they are willing to offer, and of course they are available on a first come, first served basis. If you are willing to make your plans in advance, then you have the time to search for, find and book these deals in advance. But once they are gone, they are gone – and they go fast.
The flip side of that coin is that many package deals are offered at the last minute as well. Cancellations, unsold packages and other factors lead to vacation deals in Disneyland that are available if you are willing to book at the last second. This is of course more problematic when considering a vacation like Disneyland, which usually involves whole families and large groups, but if you are flexible with your travel dates, you can catch some great deals at the last minute if you keep your eyes open and search diligently for them.
But the real vacation deals come when you book your whole trip together as a whole. Many of the prices in Disneyland are fixed, so there are only a few deals that can be found once you enter the park. But the hotels and airlines are fighting hard for your business, so when you book flights and hotels, you can save a lot of money. But the best deal is to book the entire trip at once. Look for deals that offer you the whole package, and that is where you will find the real Disneyland vacation deals.
But where are these deals located? You can find these deals with specialized travel agents for starters. Travel agents look for deals like this all the time, and are often offered these packages before they can be found by the general public. But also the internet is a great source for searching for deals like these. Most airline and hotel sites offer their best rates on their websites. Be sure they say that these are their “guaranteed lowest rates” or something to that effect, and you can rest assured this is the best deal you can find from them. But with deals like this, you will often find that the more of the vacation you book with them, the better deal you are offered.

One week hotel with free airfare?
I have 1 week at Hilton and free airfare. Leaving friday night, the most convenient flghts are Boston, Indianapolis, New York and Philadelphia. How would you rank these 4 cities, in case I can’t get my first choice?
Hands down, my top pick is New York. . . not only because it has the most attractions and things to do, but also because it’s the most expensive of the cities you list — and for you it’s FREE! It would give you the biggest bang for your freebie.
Using those criteria (number of attractions and cost), this is how I’d rank order your options:
1. New York City
2. Philadelphia
3. Boston
4. Indianapolis
Philadelphia and Boston are close to a tie; both are similar in cost of hotels, and both offer a similar number of attractions. Philly is ever-so-slightly more diverse in its tourism options, but if it comes down to that city or Boston, you might check out which of their attractions (see sources below) appeal the most to you.
Flights From New York Where To Find Cheap Ones
Flights From New York are one thing that alot of people are searching for each day. So knowing this alot of flights from new york seem to be expensive of often book up. We are here to help you find some of the places and recommend some of the things you should do to increase the chances that you get some cheap flights.
Finding Flights from New York has at times seemed overwhelming to many people that we have talked to. There seems to be a bombardment of different companies and offers out there that it almost seems impossible for people to know where to look for Cheap Airfare when they are traveling or just looking for a business flight.
Everywhere one looks there is a new company claiming to have the greatest deal on airfare and that they are better than the next company. Eveyone of the companies claims that you will have the best deal and that you can also throw in hotel plus rental car and get an even steeper discount.
So where do you start when looking for New York Cheap Flights or any other Cheap Airfare you are looking for?
>>>Cheap Flights From New York <<<
First you need to decide what city that you are going to fly out of because many times this will determine how expensive the flight is going to be. For example many people may live close to two or maybe three large airports so that they have an option.
What we suggest you do is get on the internet and begin to seach cheap flights or simply type in one of the big travel companies you have heard of advertising. Then find two to three other sites where you can search for flights. There will be many companies that have flights and some will charge more than others.
Once you have narrowed down two maybe three companies and compared companies we suggest that you call each one of them and tell them what their competition is offering and see if you can get them to beat that price. Don’t act too desperate. Tell them that you are looking for the best deal possible and for some cheap discount airfare.
Once you get them to a price you are comfortable then make sure you buy the tickets right then and there. Dont forget that research is the key.
Dont Forget that you can get Two Free Tickets by visiting http://www.Chicago-cheapflights.com
