Philippines Airfare

Join the Quest for Miss Philippine Fiesta 2009!

how much is the airfare from philippines to las vegas?

my son wants to take an ON JOB TRAINING (OJT) to US preferably in las vegas offered by his school on condition that he has to shoulder the airfare in going there.I want to know if how much will he spend for the airfare?

There are alot of variables regarding when you go, etc. However, an estimate taking Phillipine Airlines would run over $1300. You can spend more like $3000 or $4000 if you take United or U.S. Air. You should also expect at least two (2) stops.
I suggest you make final decisions about how flexible you are and contact a reputable travel agent to book the best alternative.

Best Place to Buy Cheap International Plane Tickets

The best place to buy cheap international plane tickets is online. We’ve tried travel agencies and they can’t compete with the discount ticket websites.

I just did a quick search for the cheapest airfare from Tucson, Arizona, to Buenos Aires, Argentina, using the five sites mentioned. They ranged from $1221 down to $873, and there were fares as high as $3728. Hotwire happened to have the cheapest, but they were the worst of the five when I searched for a domestic flight earlier. You cannot say which service will find the cheapest international plane tickets from week to week. My number one money-saving tip is to always check several websites when shopping for inexpensive flights.

My Accidental $1000 Discovery

Before going to Ecuador, I searched several websites that deal in cheap international plane tickets. The cheapest airfare from Traverse City, Michigan to Quito, was $1720. Out of curiosity, I checked Miami to Quito, and it was only $400. Airfare from Traverse City to Miami was $300. Book two separate flights and save more than $1000! The discount sites aren’t set up to check in this way (yet), so you have to do this on your own.

If your first flight is late and you miss the second, you may not get a refund, but it is still cheaper (every time I checked) to just book a flight to Miami and catch a flight to Quito without a reservation, thus avoiding this problem. This strategy is best for those in towns without international airports. If you live in Miami, you already have cheap international airfare.

Courier Flights

As an air courier, you can get really cheap international plane tickets. Courier companies ship material in the luggage space of an aircraft passenger because it can be quicker, cheaper, and more reliable than sending the shipment unaccompanied, since checked luggage bypasses many of the typical customs delays. The courier company begins by purchasing airfare, and then they resell the plane tickets to you. In exchange for your luggage space, they give you a discount on the airfare.

An Example Of A Courier Flight

I saved over $150 on my plane tickets this way when I went to Ecuador the first time. I had to walk several suitcases of car parts through customs, but there was a representative of the courier company on either end, and I did get to look inside the luggage, so I knew what I was carrying. I had to carry a plane propeller on the return trip, but it wasn’t too much trouble, and made a good story.

Limitations To Courier Travel

You generally can only be an air courier if you travel alone. Once in a while, a courier company will have opportunities for flights on or near the same date. Otherwise, your travel partner can pay full fare on the same flight. You also can usually only bring carry-on luggage, since the point is for the shipping company to use your checked luggage allowance.

Really Cheap Courier Flights

Sometimes air couriers fly internationally for free, and almost always very cheap. It is a matter of how badly the company needs you and how flexible you can be (can you fly to Paris on Friday?). In general air courier opportunities are becoming rarer, due to the recent heavier regulation of international flights. There still are opportunities for cheap tickets, though. You can find out more at The Air Courier Association Website (www.aircourier.org). The ACA can also help you get really cheap plane tickets by way of airline ticket wholesalers, discounters, last minute specials, and stand-by travel.

More Tips On Cheap International Plane Tickets

When searching for fares using the discount websites, try several different departure and return dates if you can. The difference of a day or two can save you a lot. There is little logic to airfare pricing, so don’t try too hard to figure it out. Just be aware that if you leave on Friday instead of Wednesday (or vice-versa), you may save $100.

Check the boxes that say “any time” for departure and “2 or more connecting flights”. Even if you aren’t sure that you want to leave at midnight, see what your options are-the savings might change your mind. Whenever the search criteria allow you choices, take the ones that are the least restrictive for the airlines. Again, if the savings aren’t enough, you can always book first class, direct flights, or whatever you prefer.

Buying your plane tickets at least a week in advance is usually cheaper. Also, there can be a dramatic difference (but not always) if your trip is over thirty days. You may want to cut it from 32 days to 30 to save hundreds of dollars on your fare. Play with the dates on one of the websites mentioned. You never know what you might discover.

Want To Go Really Cheap?

You can take a bus to a major city, if you don’t live in one, and then take an international flight from there to save quite a bit of money. My wife and I recently went to Ecuador for six weeks. The cheapest discount website plane tickets we could find were $3400 for the two of us. By taking a bus to Miami ($352 round-trip for 2), then flying from there to Quito ($622 round-trip for 2), we saved over $2400 – even after the taxi fare from the bus station to the airport. That’s a lot of money to us, certainly worth an extra day-and-a-half on a bus. (The whole six weeks cost less than $2500.)

Online Travel Booking Made Easy

Is booking with a travel agent more expensive?

I’m looking to book a vacation and everytime I use travelocity or cheaptickets I get a different price. My question is it easier just to go to a travel agent to get a good deal thats at a constant price? And do I have to pay a travel agent or does their office pay for it?

Some online booking agencies actually have a number you can call which I have done in the past, mainly when booking cruises ( I know cruises.com does). If they do, it is much easier because they can maneuver through the site and information to get you the best deal. If not, it can be easier to go through a travel agent especially if you are going to an area that you are unfamiliar with. They can fill you in with any details and fees which you might just be bombarded with on an online site. In my experience, I have not had to pay a travel agent because they typically have a deal with the hotel or agency and their commission is included in the price that they quote to you. Hope this was helpful.

If you’re a keen bargain hunter, or experienced Internet user, then perhaps you’re used to buying goods and services online, and enjoy paying much less for things, than if you bought them locally. Klm Airways Click Link Below

1. One of the main reasons that people book–flights online is the cost savings that are available. There are often very good deals to be had, as there are almost no overheads, so the savings are passed on to passengers.

2. Because you can book your flights online at any time of the day or night, and from any county, you’re not dependent to the opening hours of your local travel agent.

3. You won’t need to leave the house in order to book your family summer holiday, and so don’t need to take time off work, or take the whole family to the travel agent on a Saturday.

4. Online companies are often not tied to the holiday companies or destinations served by travel agents, so you’ll have more of a choice of airlines, destinations and flight times, as well as airports.

5. There are a wide choice online travel companies, as well as the well known travel agents. If you want to fly somewhere unusual, or have special requirements for your holiday, then you might be better off with a specialised online travel company, rather than a traditional travel agent.

6. You can research where you want to go, and what you want to see and do, and easily find out which destinations will be right for you at www.Klm.com.

7. Whilst you’re deciding where to go, you can see reviews of hotels, and airlines, and attractions, so that you can start your itinerary as soon as you’ve decided where you’re flying to.

8. Don’ forget that you can also book car hire, accommodation, currency, travel insurance and car parking online too. Often this can be done from the same website as you book your flights, so you can make sure that you get exactly what you want, when you want it. You also won’t have to remember to get anything sorted out at the last minute.

9. Because all the research is done online, you don’t need paper brochures, so it’s better for the environment. In addition, the latest prices, offers and information will be on the website, so unlike a brochure, the website will never be out of date.

10. Depending on your circumstances, you can book your summer holiday flights far in advance at Klm Airways, so that you’ve got plenty of time to look forward to your holiday. Or, alternatively, you might need to book a business trip on the day you need to travel. It’s much easier to book online, and print your tickets out, than having to go to a travel agent, especially if you’re in a hurry.

Villa Aloreon – Waterfront Florida Vacation Rental Villa

Where can I find a good single family vacation home in Panama City Beach, Florida?

My family and I are going to Panama City Beach, Florida for vacation this August, like we did last summer. My preference is to stay in a single family home with a pool within walking distance of the beach. We did the condo thing last year and I don’t want to do that again…

I used to live by the “Y” 79 and Front Beach Rd. in Panama City Beach. About a 1/2 mile west of the “Y” is Riviera Property Management they rent single family homes as well as condos.

how do I get the lowest airfare to Italy in mid-May?

several of us are going at the same time, we’ll stay at least ten days, standby would be difficult, our ultimate destination is Florence but landing in Rome is OK.

Check the airlines. Prices change all the time. Advance ticket purchase and flying on certain days will lower cost. Each airline has days that are cheaper. Usually Tue and Sat. but check online.

Volcano Airfares

What is there to do in Costa Rico for people who are on low-budget plan?

My friends and I are traveling to Costa Rica but we are on a low budget plan as we are just students. We are staying at Costa rica for 6 days and we want to keep the cost less than 600 dollars per person if it’s feasible (excludes airfare).

I did some price search on canopying and whitewater rafting, but they were about 50-100 dollars, which would take away big chunk of our budget. So we are not interested in those.

I would like to know:

1. What kind of activities we can do there? (see list below)
2. How much would that cost?
3. Any thoughts/recommendation of our plan?

My places-to-go list was something like this:

La Fortuna, Arenal Volcano, Jaco, Monteverde, Guanacaste Beaches

If you go to Monteverde you can stay at a place called Pension Santa Elena. A lot of young back packers mostly college students from all over stay there its a fun atmosphere and really cheap. Around $8 a day to stay there. Also in Monte Verde you can get student discounts for canopy tours you would only pay $30 with your student id cards for a canopy tour with Selvatura. Check out the different canopy prices for students on this link. http://monteverdetours.com/tours/monteverde/canopy_tours.htm
Just ask for student discounts where ever you go and look for nice hostels there are a lot around and use the public bus transportation and in six days youll be able to enjoy with $600.

Hawaii- Big Island, Big Attractions

What are the features which draw people to return to Hawaii’s Big Island year after year? Is it the call of the mountain’s, the rain forest, and the waterfalls? Is it the charm of the small villages, or the open spaces of the upland ranches and coffee plantations? Maybe it is just the magnificent beaches, and the world-class restaurants and hotels. Perhaps it is the magical secret garden known as the Valley of the Kings.

It could be the fascinating Kilauea Volcano, the lava flows of which are still shaping the island. The truth is that there is many reasons to return to the big Island as there are visitors who return to it.

If you are about to embark on your first visit to Hawaii’s Big Island, however, you are in for the most magical vacation of your life. The Big Island is a study in contrasts where vast areas of pristine land border dynamic cities like Kona. If you are like most tourists, in fact, you will begin your stay on the island in Kona. Doing so will give you a chance to get your bearings, to soak up some sun on the Big Island’s beaches, and enjoy some of Hawaii’s underwater marvels by snorkeling through the coral reef in Kealakekuea Bay.  If you prefer to enjoy the water from above, rented kayak and paddle through the paths of spinner dolphins on your way to Captain Cook’s monument.

You cannot leave the big Island without having visited a Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. The Kilauea Volcano has been spewing lava for the past quarter century and is only one of the Big Island’s five live volcanoes. The Mauna Loa volcano last erupted in 1984, but geologists expect that it will erupt again at any time.  Hawaii Volcanoes National Park has more than 140 miles of trails, and you really need to camp there if you are going to take advantage of your opportunities for exploration. Even if your time is limited, however, you should make a point of driving through the entire park.

The enormous amounts of rainfall which cascade on the city of Hilo each year have earned it the title of America’s rainiest city. Do not let that prevent you from visiting, however, because this historic and charming little town will offer perfect picture taking opportunities with its 20 acre Nani Mau Gardens, and the legendary Naha and Pinao Stones. The Pinao Stone is said to them once been an entrance pillar to an ancient temple on the Wailuku River. Kamehameha the Great, the founder of Hawaii, is said to have 2 1/2 ton Naha Stone while still a teenager.

The town of Puako, just outside the Hapuna Beach State Recreation Area, is known for its enormous tide pools, which shelter numerous sea creatures including live corals.  Puako, however, is not on the major tourist routes, so there are few facilities there.

If you think any scenery looks better when viewed from the back of a horse, head for King’s Trail Rides O’Kona.  Their two-hour excursion will take you to the Capain. Cook monument at Kalakekua Bay, where you can enjoy a bit of snorkeling before remounting and returning to be stable. For a full day in the saddle, driving five-hour hidden waterfall adventure offered at the Waipi’o Ridge Stables.  You will circle the rim of the Waipi’o Valley and be given time to refresh yourself with a dip in the waterfall.

A rugged trail winds through the lush green spaces of the Pololu Valley, descending to Polulo Beach and a jagged coastline complete with a number of waterfalls. If you find the trail to challenging on foot, you can hire a sure-footed mule. The valleys beyond the Pololu Valley are the source of water for the big Island’s Kohala Ditch, once used to transport water to the local sugar plantations. Kayak cruises are available through the ditch, if you are interested in learning more about the history of the sugar plantations.

No matter where you go on the Big Island, you will see more than you can fully appreciate in a single visit. So why not take it for granted that your first visit to the Big Island will be only one of many, many more!
